Zurich Global Life has recently launched a European Cross-Border Hub in Dublin. With proposition manufacturing capability, it will be responsible for providing products and services to local markets in an efficient way, enabling fast-to-market products and services to be delivered across Europe, with the potential to reuse these around the world.

Role Definition:
The role is to lead Business Analysis workstreams, working with internal Zurich business customers, within Business Change Programmes to analyse, develop, define, document and gain agreement on the scope and business requirements for the complete solution.

Main Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidates will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
. Responsible for ensuring the E2E business solution meets the business needs through facilitation of walkthroughs.
. Oversee other business analysts and quality check the overall solution.
. Define project scope.
. Support IT Development of functional specifications.
. Oversee and perform Business Requirement gathering and analysis, including the facilitation of workshops, and resolution of any issues.
. Support application testing, implementation and training activities.
. Perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
. Perform Business Process Modelling and Business Process Re-engineering, as required.
. Work with IT to design and deliver IT Solutions.
. Act as liaison between Business and IT.
. Support the Subject Matter Experts in development of estimates and validation of supplier's estimates.
. Support users in building Business Case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high level plan.
. Supports SME in creating the Conceptual Design of a business and system, where appropriate.
. Work closely with 3rd parties to provide a high level solution design from the business requirements


. Work with 3rd parties (e.g. regulators, consultancies), and documents procedures and processes using the 3rd party' templates. 
. Work with multiple 3rd parties (including regulatory and IT suppliers). 
. Understand regulatory requirements and incorporates impact into requirements
. Understands customer's objectives, processes and products in order to make educated recommendations
. Apply knowledge and judgement to make more complex decisions and take risks

Technical Competencies
. Currently operating as a Business Analyst and/or 6 years experience in analysis or a technical development role. 
. Strong background of experience of planning and leading large/complex analysis efforts, effecting multiple business departments and performing department responsibilities
. Minimum 4 years experience in the Life Insurance industry with a detailed understanding of Pensions, Investments and Life Insurance products and business processes.
. Demonstrable awareness of Zurich organisations, aims, objectives and departmental procedures.

Non- Technical Competencies
. Good verbal and written communication skills.
. Good listening and questioning skills.
. Ability to be logical, consistent and work well under pressure.
. Knowledge across a broad range of financial services and insurance operations and functions.
. Attention to detail.
. Good business acumen.
. Demonstrate integrity, working at all times lawfully and in accordance with pre-defined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements.
. Working at all times in accordance with procedures, group/company policy, processes and controls e.g. the Internal Control Framework.
. Fluency in English both written and verbal essential.
. Fluency in a second European Language would be advantageous.

Travel:
Projects may arise from time to time that require business travel.

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.
